Our Vision

At Digital Edge, we believe that the real work of transformation happens in the space between business and technology, not on either side of it. We take a dynamic, holistic approach that harmonizes technical execution with business reality, staying engaged through the cultural friction and human adoption challenges that determine whether a system actually delivers value, rather than treating go-live as the finish line. We're not a vendor who implements and walks away — we're a genuine partner in solving the business and technical challenges that come with real change.

Our Story

The founder of Digital Edge originally established and led ReadSoft Asia — the Asian arm of ReadSoft, a Swedish company founded in 1991 that became one of the pioneers of document and AP automation globally, serving over 12,000 customers worldwide. The regional business was built from the ground up, bringing that technology and expertise into Asia years before Digital Edge existed.

When ReadSoft was acquired by Kofax, and Kofax later became Tungsten Automation, the decision was made to leave and establish Digital Edge — ensuring that the work built over years in the region continued with the same level of accountability and proximity to clients, rather than being absorbed into a larger global structure. Digital Edge was founded to carry that expertise forward, grounded in close client relationships and a commitment to outcomes rather than transactions.

This history distinguishes Digital Edge's approach to AP automation and its implementation. Digital Edge is not a reseller that acquired a product line — it is an extension of one of the original teams that helped define AP and document automation in the region.

Experienced Leadership

Digital Edge is led by the core team behind ReadSoft Asia — the people who built and ran the region's AP and document automation business from its earliest days, long before Digital Edge existed.

That foundation is not treated as a fixed formula. The same team that helped shape the region's early automation practice continues to evolve alongside it — adapting to modern technology, current implementation practices, and the changing demands of enterprise clients. Decades of hands-on experience are carried forward, not preserved as legacy, but applied to the tools and challenges of the present.

This combination — deep institutional history paired with continuous adaptation — is what positions Digital Edge as a long-term technical partner rather than a transactional reseller.
